NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on several boards and committees that shape county programs, policies and services.
Current openings include:
- Affordable Housing Advisory Committee — Reviews local housing policies and recommends strategies to increase the availability of affordable housing.
- Amelia Island Tourist Development Council — Advises on the promotion and development of tourism and the use of tourist development tax revenues.
- Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals — Hears appeals and considers matters related to the county’s construction codes and regulations.
- Planning and Zoning Board — Reviews land use, zoning and development proposals and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.
