‘Operation Greenlight’ to help reinstate suspended Florida driver’s licenses

Northeast Florida residents who have had their driver’s licenses suspended due to unpaid fines or fees can take advantage of a special driver’s license reinstatement event called Operation Green Light.

The event, scheduled for March 14th, is offering eligible individuals a chance to reinstate their driver’s licenses by paying a reduced fee.

During the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 events combined, Clerks of Court held more than 200 events and helped more than 35,000 customers become eligible for driver’s license reinstatement.

This opportunity is aimed at helping individuals who may have lost their license due to financial difficulties get back on the road and take care of their daily needs. The event is expected to provide much-needed relief to many people across Florida who are struggling financially and cannot afford to pay the full amount to have their licenses reinstated.

Residents who wish to participate in Operation Green Light are encouraged to visit the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website for more information on eligibility and required documentation. This event represents a significant opportunity for Northeast Florida residents to get back on the road and take care of their daily needs.

Event Schedule:

Many of Florida’s Clerks of Court are holding an Operation Green Light event one or more days between March 11 – March 25, 2023.
