Action News Jax is asking questions about a controversial questionnaire a fraternity reportedly handed out on UNF's campus.
Reporter Meghan Moriarty was sent a photo of the survey, titled Fall Rush 2019 Questionnaire.
UNF confirms members of the Chi Phi chapter created it.
Questions include: "If you had a nuke who would you hit?" "Are margaritas gay?" and "How many fifth graders could you confidently beat up?"
Moriarty sent the survey to UNF and a spokesperson said the university and national organization are investigating.
Full statement from UNF: "The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of North Florida has been made aware of the questionnaire issued by Chi Phi Fraternity and has addressed the matter to both the local chapter and the national Fraternity. Our office, nor the University, condone the inappropriateness of this questionnaire, and has higher expectations of our fraternity and sorority community members."
Earlier today @ActionNewsJax got word of a controversial survey being passed around to pledges. The survey allegedly came from the UNF Chi Phi chapter. Here’s the survey and UNF’s response: (Profanities are crossed out) pic.twitter.com/uwOmaVW1rB
