Police investigate deadly, double shooting at Arlington apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax is following this story and will have live updates on FOX30 and CBS47:

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left a man dead at an Arlington apartment complex Thursday night.

The shooting happened at the Plaza Apartments, in the area of University Club Boulevard and Fort Caroline Road.

When officers arrived at the complex around 9:45 p.m., they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital where the man died of his injuries, police said.

The woman is expected  to survive. At this time, officials do not know the relationship between the two.

The Sheriff's Office said they believe they have everyone invovled in the shooting, but no one has been charged yet. They are working to learn who played what role.
