JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — As part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s I-10 widening project from I-295 to I-95, nightly ramp closures are scheduled at two interchanges from Sunday, Aug. 9, through Wednesday, Aug. 12 while crews perform infrastructure improvements.
The I-10 West exit ramp to Lane Avenue will be closed from Sunday night into Monday morning and Monday night into Tuesday morning from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night
FDOT advises drivers to detour to I-295 North then east on Commonwealth Avenue to access Lane Avenue.
Also, the Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West will be closed during the same overnight hours Tuesday and Wednesday into early Thursday morning. Drivers should detour to Edison Avenue then east on Forest Street to access I-10 West.
