ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — St. Johns County is hosting a free educational workshop on agricultural land conservation easements from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday. The event takes place at The Venue, 301 N. Main St., Hastings.
The workshop aims to assist agricultural landowners and farming families by providing information on voluntary state and federal conservation programs. These programs offer options designed to help property owners protect their land and preserve their agricultural legacy.
The educational session is held in collaboration with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
During the workshop, organizers will outline available conservation easement options, explain the steps required in the process and detail how St. Johns County can assist participating landowners.
The event is free and open to agricultural landowners, farming families, area residents and anyone interested in agricultural land conservation. Organizers request that attendees RSVP prior to the workshop.
