ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Students and staff at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind were told to shelter in place Tuesday after a student reported seeing someone come through the school’s gate.
School officials say operations inside the building are running as usual and everyone is OK.
Campus police are currently searching for the possible intruder.
Students and staff will remain inside their buildings at this time.
The school plans to update its social media pages with any new information.
