Youth Crisis Center Saint Augustine Opening

SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Youth Crisis Center has been serving Northeast Florida for the past 46 years. It will be partnering with Flagler Health Care Connect and opening an office to better serve St. Johns County.

The location will provide another home for the SNAP® and Family Link Programs at the Youth Crisis Center.

The SNAP® program helps both children and their parents learn how to effectively manage their emotions and“keep problems small.” The program is for youth between the ages of 6- and 11.

The Family Link program provides free, confidential outpatient counseling for families experiencing any youth-related issues that disrupt the health and stability of the home.

The services are offered to families with kids between the ages of 6- and 17.

“I am excited for this opportunity to strengthen our partnership with Flagler Health + Care Connect. This new space will afford more accessibility to serve the youth, teens, young adults, and families in St. Johns County,” said Kim Sirdevan, president and CEO of Youth Crisis Center.

This past year, the Youth Crisis Center served a total of 2,467 children, teens, young adults, and families.

Nationally recognized as setting a standard in youth services, YCC has been ranked as one of the top five programs in the United States by the Youth Policy Institute in Washington, DC.
