JACKSOVNILLE, Fla. — An elementary school student brought a knife to Holliday Hill Elementary on Friday, according to Duval County Public Schools.

The principal alerted parents via phone call.
According to the message, “the object was not shown or displayed to other students.”
The school principal also reminded parents to check their student’s backpacks and monitor what is being brought to school.
