CSX announced that three empty railcars derailed about 1 p.m. Friday outside the CSX Moncrief Rail Yard.
According to CSX there are no injuries.
The train consisted of five locomotives, 41 loaded railcars and 112 empty cars.
The Duval County Public School System announced the traffic from derailment is causing bus delays in the area.
Attention Parents and Guardians. This is a courtesy notification that there may be school bus delays created by heavy traffic due to a stopped train on Jacksonville’s Westside.
