‘We’re expecting 50,000+ season ticket holders’: Jaguars optimistic for 2022 season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s that time of the year again, the Jaguars are hoping to score big during the annual draft.

“I’m incredibly excited,” Dom Iannacone said. “Just as excited as I was last year, except more so, because now we have a coach who brought in really good talent.”

Iannacone has been a season ticket holder for seven years.

”I did go to the Jags and say ‘hey you guys increased the prices when you were doing well but why didn’t it go down when you weren’t doing well?’ but they didn’t like that,” Iannacone joked.

In a one-on-one with Jaguars team President, Mark Lamping, Action News Jax spoke about how season ticket sales are shaping up so far.

”Ticket sales are going well, and we have been very encouraged,” Lamping said. “Our fans have outperformed the team in recent years. There is no hiding from that, but there is great optimism.”

Renewals for season tickets finished up in March. Right now, the Jags are selling new season tickets. The single game schedule comes out mid May.

“We’re expecting 50,000+ season ticket holders and TIAA Bank field,” Chad Johnson, Senior Vice President of Sales and Service, said. “We want our fans to be loud. We’ve seen what can happen when the teams playing well, and we have a full house.”
