Jacksonville, Fl — Beginning next week you’ll be able to get a coronavirus vaccination at select Winn-Dixie pharmacies. The Jacksonville company says it will administer the vaccine, free, to seniors and health care workers at Winn-Dixie and Harvey’s locations, beginning Thursday.
Approximately 8,100 free Moderna COVID-19 vaccines will be available. The company will initially offer the shots to health care workers, residents and staff of long-term care facilities, and adults ages 65 and older in accordance with Florida health authority guidelines, while supplies last.
Appointments will be needed, and so far, none are available. You can register here once appointments become available.
