Stacy, 30, who played two seasons with the St. Louis Rams and one with the New York Jets from 2013 to 2015, was arrested by the Orlando Police Department, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Office online booking records.

He was charged with aggravated battery and criminal mischief, online records show. He is being held without bail at the Orange County Jail.

The Oakland, Florida, Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Stacy on Wednesday in connection with an alleged violent dispute between Stacy and the mother of his 5-month-old child, USA Today reported. Oakland is a small town in Orange County located northwest of Orlando.

Officers said they responded at around 2:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, adding that Stacy had left the scene, WFTV reported.

According to a redacted affidavit, the victim’s shirt was torn and she had food in her hair. A large, flat-screen television was broken and on the floor, and there was food scattered on the floor, according to USA Today.

Oakland Police confirmed that a video that went viral and was posted on social media and TMZ’s website appears to show the attack.

Officers said security video from inside the woman’s apartment showed Stacy strike the woman multiple times and pick her up like a “rag doll” and throw her into the television set, WFTV reported. He then allegedly picked her up again and body-slammed her onto a baby walker.

The victim is the mother of another child not fathered by Stacy, USA Today reported. The affidavit stated that both children were present when the incident took place.

Earlier, the Oakland Police Department posted a comment on Facebook directed toward Stacy.

“We would urge him to turn himself in and face the criminal charges,” Oakland police wrote in a Facebook post.

Also Thursday, the TransPerfect Music City Bowl cut ties with Stacy as its ambassador after the video surfaced, The Tennessean reported. Stacy, who played at Vanderbilt University, was the most valuable player of the bowl game in Nashville in 2012, was named the Youth Football Ambassador earlier this month.

“Based on the video and domestic violence report regarding Zac Stacy, the TransPerfect Music City Bowl has terminated the relationship with Zac Stacy effective immediately,” the Music City Bowl said in a statement.

The Rams drafted Stacy in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft. In 35 games during his three-year NFL career, he rushed for 1,355 yards and nine touchdowns. He scored seven rushing touchdowns and made one TD catch as a rookie with St. Louis in 2013.
