Recall alert: Publix recalls holiday cookie platter

Grocery store chain Publix has announced a recall of a specific variety of its holiday cookie platters.

The cookies, made by George DeLallo Co. Inc., could have undeclared pecans, posing a danger to anyone with a pecan allergy.

The cookies were used on the Publix Bakery 20 oz. Holiday Cookie Platters.

They were sold in stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.

The cookies sold in Florida locations in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach Broward and Monroe are not impacted by the recall.

The cookies come in a clear plastic 20 oz. container with UPC 4141588690 and lot number W34326 and a best-by date April 10, 2021.

If you have cookies that have been recalled, you can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
