First Alert Weather: Tracking warmer temperatures Monday; Storms possible Thursday

The First Alert Weather team is tracking some mid to high level clouds moving across our area this Monday morning. Temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s for the morning commute.

Today will be a bit breezy too with southerly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts as high as 20-25 at times. We will top out in the mid 70s for high temperatures to start the work week. A few late night showers are possible.

Tuesday will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs back to 80 degrees. Showers will return Wednesday for areas north of I-10 into SE Georgia. Highs will top out near 80 degrees in FL and in the 70s in SE Georgia.

Our next storm system arrives Thursday/Thursday afternoon. Showers will increase ahead of a low pressure system through the day Thursday. There is the potential for a few stronger storms Thursday afternoon/evening before we begin to dry out on Friday. Highs will only be in the 60s to end the week.
