JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Alert Weather team is tracking scattered light rain moving into the area this Friday morning. The Jacksonville area will see some wet roads this morning for portions of the commute. Showers will taper off this afternoon with clearing skies before sunset.
Temperatures today will be MUCH cooler than yesterday’s all-time February high temperature record of 89 degrees for Jacksonville. We will only be around 60 degrees through the day. Not much swing in temperatures after sunrise.
Tonight will be dry and cool for Valentine’s plans. The first half of the weekend should be mainly dry with highs in the mid 60s. A few showers are possible by Sunday afternoon as highs climb back to the 70s. The 80s creep back into the forecast next week!
