NTSB releases photos of investigation after plane skids off runway into the St. Johns River

The NTSB released several photos ahead of their 5 p.m. news conference on Saturday afternoon after a Miami Air Internationl Boeing 737-800 skidded of the runway and into the St. Johns River at NAS Jax Friday night.
The NTSB is investigating what caused the plane to skid off the runway at NAS Jax Friday night around 9:40 p.m. All 143 people on board the plane were accounted for, with 23 people being transported to local hospitals.
All have been released from area hospitals. The NTSB shared this photo showing an investigator holding the flight data recorder that was recovered from the plane. Click HERE for the latest updates.
