JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man convicted of killing a 17-year-old boy received 50 years in prison.
A judge sentenced Roland Stanley Mainor for the second-degree murder of Robert Cummings.
Police said Cummings, 17, and Mainor got into a fight while in a car in October 2007.
Police said Mainor shot Cummings in the back and dumped his body in a vacant lot on Doeboy Street.
Mainor must serve a minimum of 40 years in prison.
Police also arrested Justin Graham in connection to the killing.
