AT&T TV Now Just Dropped Its Price by $10 a Month

AT&T TV Now is changing its prices again! The live TV streaming service that was formerly called DirecTV Now has lowered the price of its base plan to $55 a month —that's a $10 drop.

However, the AT&T TV Now Plus package will no longer include HBO at the new price point.

AT&T TV Now’s Cheapest Plan Just Got Cheaper: Here’s the Catch

AT&T TV Now has made multiple price changes over the past few years. The last price hike was in November. That’s when the Plus plan increased to $65 a month and the Max plan increased to $80 a month.

At the time, AT&T justified the price adjustment by adding HBO to both plans. But that’s now changing.

At $55 per month, the Plus plan provides access to about 45 networks, but no longer HBO. The $80 per month Max plan includes HBO, Cinemax and regional sports networks that you don’t get with the Plus plan.

If you select the Plus plan and want HBO, you can add it for an extra $10 a month — making it $65 per month.

Despite the price adjustment, AT&T TV Now still offers fewer channels for about the same price as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV. These are all competitors in the no-contract live TV streaming space.
