No one was hurt on Saturday when a van plowed through a tent and tables.

27-year-old Gregory Timm is in jail on a half million dollars bond. He’s charged with aggravated assault and driving on a suspended license. JSO stopped short of saying it was a politically motivated attack. Officers said that after damaging the tent and tables the driver got out of a van, took a video of the scene, flipped off the people, and then fled.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel called it a senseless and politically motivated attack. She says this act of cowardice will not silence them.

President Trump tweeted about the incident, saying "Be careful tough guys who you play with".

The Duval County Democratic Party says it condemns the cowardly act of violence, and calls on fellow citizens to act with dignity, civility and respect for one another during this election cycle and beyond.
