Orange Park Elementary School wins NFL Play 60 video contest

Jaguar players surprise the winning school

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Story published 5/30/19:

Local schools were asked to create a short video entitled #HowDoYouPlay60 for an NFL-sponsored "NFL Play 60" video contest.  There were many great entries, but the winner was Lakeside Elementary in Orange Park.

The Jacksonville Jaguars sponsored a “Bring a Ball to the Ball” at the First Coast Heart and Stroke Ball in April.  Guests donated over 100 sports balls -basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, baseballs, tennis balls – all to be donated to the one lucky school on the First Coast

After winning the contest, several Jaguar players, Jackson de Ville and members of the Roar surprised the winning school at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29.

At that time, 100 fifth grade students were surprised with the winning items and the opportunity to meet the Jaguars, the Roar and Jaxon DeVille, and to “play ball."
