TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — No one took home the record jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, but several people in Florida woke up richer.
Florida Lottery’s website shows that one person matched five of the five numbers, but not the Powerball. Saturday’s numbers were 28-45-53-56-69 and 20 as the Powerball.
That ticket that matched five of five numbers is worth $1 million. It was sold at Publix, located at 5052 N. U.S. Hwy. 41 in Apollo Beach, which is near Tampa.
Eighteen people matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball. Those tickets are worth $50,000. Five people also matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball and took part in the Power Play, making those tickets worth $150,000.
