JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A handgun was discovered at J.E.B. Stuart Middle School Thursday, according to a Duval County Public Schools representative.
The gun was found in the possession of a student during a search.
The student was taken into custody by school police.
Parents were notified with a robotic Duval Connect Message.
This is the third gun found at the schoool in several weeks.
