Jags' Gratz arrested over weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars bye week was not as uneventful as the organization had hoped.

Second-year cornerback Dwayne Gratz was arrested over the weekend in Miami on two misdemeanors charges.

Gratz was cited for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. Citing Miami Beach Police reports, Deadspin.com reports that the incident stemmed from Gratz trying to pay for items at a convenience store with gum and refused to leave the store when asked.

Gratz missed practice on Monday.

"He had an unfortunate situation over the weekend," said head coach Gus Bradley Monday.  "It's not good what took place, but I'll meet with him and we'll handle it internally."

Gratz's agent Jason Bernstein told Action Sports on Monday that his client is fine and expected to rejoin the team.
