JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 23-year-old Jacksonville man was found guilty of two counts of sexual battery against a child Tuesday.
The State Attorney’s Office said Reynaldo Martin-Godinez inappropriately touched and had sex with a 9-year-old girl.
He was found guilty of two counts of sexual battery and one count of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under 12.
Authorities learned of the sexual abuse in January, according to the state attorney’s office.
Martin-Godinez faces mandatory life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of March 21.
