JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An additional $740 million has been added to Florida’s emergency rental assistance program so it can continue to operate and help families.
Floridians who pay rent and have low income or other financial hardships may apply by visiting https://www.ourflorida.com/.
The Florida Department of Children and Families made the announcement on Thursday. They say that since the program was launched in May 2021, $858 million has been distributed to more than 164,000 households.
