911 transcript: PGA Tour star's wife arrested in St. Johns County

RELATED: Wife damaged squad car, told deputies she could get them fired, report says

The 911 call from the May 12 arrest of Krista Glover in Ponte Vedra Beach was released Wednesday by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Krista Glover called 911 hours after her husband, three-time PGA Tour winner Lucas Glover, failed to qualify for the final round of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

Krista Glover is accused of domestic battery after starting an altercation over her husband's poor play. Deputies said she resisted their efforts to arrest her and damaged a patrol car before being taken to jail.

The arrest report said that Krista Glover often causes altercations wither her husband when he plays poorly and threatened to take their kids and leave him. Lucas Glover told deputies he was tired of the altercations, and the report said he took steps to prevent his wife from being arrested.

Deputies said Krista Glover made threatening statements during the arrest, telling them:

"This is why cops get shot in the face."
"Wait til the (PGA) Tour hears about this. You will lose your job."
"Wait til I talk to the judge. You'll be (expletive) fired over this."

Here is a transcript of the brief 911 call placed by Krista Glover on May 12:

911 operator: 911, whats your emergency?

Krista Glover: I've been attacked by my mother in law.

911 operator: What's your address? (redacted) What's the street name? You said you've been attacked by your mother?

Krista Glover: Yes. my mother in law.

911 operator: Is she still there?

Krista Glover: Yes, she's in tears and has locked herself into the room and she's attacked us.

911 operator: How did she attack you? How did she attack you?

Lucas Glover: Hello?

911 operator: Hello, this is the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Lucas Glover: Yeah, hi. We got our lines crossed here. This is the husband, the sane one of the bunch.

911 operator: OK. Can you tell me what's going on there?

Lucas Glover: Yeah, my wife has called you. My mom and now she's trying to blame it on my mother, which is not the case at all. My mother is the one bleeding and my wife is going crazy, so..

911 operator: Do you need fire and rescue to come and look at her?

Lucas Glover: No, I don't think anybody needs to come out here, thank you though.

911 operator: OK, but we still have deputies that are coming out there just to maker sure everything is OK there. Can I talk to your wife real quick?

Lucas Glover: No, you can not. She is in the house with my daughter, and when the deputies get here, they need to talk to the male — that would be me — because these other two are out of their heads at the moment.

911 operator: She dialed 911, so I need to speak with her so I can find out whats happening from her side.

Lucas Glover: Well, she is gonna lie to you, that's what I am telling you. That is why I answered her phone. She is telling lies and none of it is true. but I will let you talk to her…

911 operator: OK thank you. Thank you.

Lucas Glover: OK.

Krista Glover: Hi there.

911 operator: Hi, is this the person I was talking to originally?

Christ Glover: Yes, we are not having a great….

911 operator: We have deputies coming out there already

Krista Glover: OK, thank you.

911 operator: What is your name?

Krista Glover: Um, yeah, we're gonna go.

911 operator: Can I get your name ma'am?
