ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. — The Alachua County Sheriff's Office said its deputies have been cleared by the state attorney after shooting an armed robbery suspect.
It also released video of that shooting. Action News has chosen to blur and bleep the most intense moments.
The video was recorded may 12th outside a Winn-Dixie. Deputies said that suspect had just robbed a post office then pulled a gun on deputies.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement was the lead investigator on that shooting.
The suspect in that case is Yowab Ben-Israel. He survived that shooting and is currently facing armed robbery and felony gun charges.
