Anti-Trump protest held in Jacksonville days after election

Hundreds attended the anti-Trump rally in Jacksonville

Anti-Trump protests continue all across the country from New York to Los Angeles and now Jacksonville.

On Saturday, hundreds of people flooded downtown, marching against the nation’s president-elect.

“No Trump, no KKK, no racist USA.” That’s what hundreds of people were chanting as they flooded Hemming Park in Downtown Jacksonville. They were speaking out against Tuesday's election when Republican businessman Donald Trump won the presidency against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

“No Trump, no hate, not our city, not our state,” many protestors said.

It’s a message that has been echoed across the country since the election.

Several anti-Trump protests have been happening across the country, from Seattle, all the way to Atlanta, and now in Jacksonville.

“Donald Trump got elected because we ignored the working class,” Connell Crooms said.

Crooms was one of the many in the crowd. He said the next two to four years will be critical.

“Go to city hall meetings, create a plan of action and execute those actions,” Crooms said.

Protestors said they will not stop marching until they feel that message is heard loud and clear.
