BCSO: Longtime Baker County felon arrested for selling drugs from home

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — A Baker County man was arrested Friday morning for selling illegal drugs from his home.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office said just before 7 a.m., its SWAT team unit executed a search warrant at a home on State Road 121 N. where Jason Eddins, a convicted felon, had been selling illegal drugs.

During their search, investigators recovered a gun, ammunition, methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.

According to court records, Eddins was arrested in 2014 and 2016 for the production of methamphetamine. His nearly two dozen criminal charges date back to 1992.

In a statement, Sheriff Rhoden said that “every complaint made about suspected drug activity within Baker County is taken seriously and investigated to the full extent.”
