Bozard Bash to benefit Boys and Girls Club of St. Augustine

The Bozard Ford Lincoln dealership transformed into a party in the name of charity over the weekend.

The 8th annual Bozard Bash raised money for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Augustine. The funds are essential to running the Players Championship Club and giving local kids a safe place to hang out after school.

"These are kids who don't have anywhere to go. It provides a safe haven for them," said Mike Strausbaugh, chair of the board for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Augustine. "The Bozard Foundation opens up its dealership to raise money for kids in our community, to help provide them opportunities to do things that otherwise, they wouldn't be able to do."

"This event has become one of the largest independent fundraisers for our local Boys and Girls Club unit," said Letti Bozard, VP of community involvement at Bozard Ford Lincoln. "The funds from this event go directly to the programming of the club."

Bozard Ford Lincoln is an Action News Jax Family Focus partner, and they're proud to do their part for the St. John's County community.

"Our community does so much for us," said Jeff King, general manager and VP of Bozard Ford Lincoln. "If we, in turn, give back to them, it's a win-win for everybody."
