CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. — Camden County is a step closer to becoming a spaceport.

That’s important because the application can’t move forward without evaluating the environmental impacts.

Camden County is working to become a launch side for “small lift" vehicles that’s don’t use reusable flyback boosters.

There is a local group in Camden who are against the spaceport. They believe it is a bad investment for taxpayers and bad for the environment.
