JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — CareerSource Northeast Florida will host a “Career Connect” hiring event and multiple mobile outreach visits this month to connect job seekers with employers and career services.
The hiring event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Southside Career Center, 11268 Beach Blvd. Participating employers include American In-Home Care, Allied Universal Security, Transportation Property Solutions, Cawley & Bergmann, Manpower and the City of Jacksonville.
Job seekers must create a profile at www.employflorida.com before attending and are encouraged to bring a current resume for hiring representatives.
Attendees can also have their resumes reviewed by a CareerSource NEFL workforce representative.
The organization’s Mobile Access Team, which brings career center services such as job searches, resume assistance and online access into local communities, will visit the following locations in September, all from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
- Wednesday, Sept. 9 — Ponte Vedra Library, 101 Library Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach
- Thursday, Sept. 10 — Charles Webb Wesconnett Regional Library, 6887 103rd St., Jacksonville
- Friday, Sept. 11 — Brentwood Community Center, 3465 Village Center Dr., Jacksonville
- Wednesday, Sept. 16 — Southwind Villas, 8711 Newton Rd., Jacksonville
- Thursday, Sept. 24 — Charles Webb Wesconnett Regional Library, 6887 103rd St., Jacksonville
- Friday, Sept. 25 — Brentwood Community Center, 3465 Village Center Dr., Jacksonville
