CDC expands COVID-19 booster shot for ages 5 through 11

A new decision was made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to allow children from ages 5 to 11 to get their COVID-19 booster shot.

The Food and Drug Administration updated vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.

Pfizer updated their vaccines for ages 5 through 11 and Moderna updated their vaccines from ages 6 through 17.
