Body of missing Folkston teenager found

Folkston, GA — We have a sad update to a story we’ve been following since Thursday night.

The body of a missing teenager has been found, according to the Charlton County Sheriff’s Office.

Raymond Wade, 17, disappeared around 5 p.m. while swimming in the St. Marys River at the Traders Hill landing.

Friends were unable to assist him and Wade went under the water and never resurfaced.
