City of Jacksonville is offering free tax filings for veterans

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update Feb. 16: Veteran-specific sites like City Hall is booked through March to file taxes.


The City of Jacksonville’s Military Affairs and Veterans Department partner with the IRS and United Way offering free tax preparation services to Veterans.

The free tax preparation services are available Monday through Friday until May 5.

The service is in City Hall on west Duval Street in Downtown from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

It is advised to make an appointment via phone 904-255-5551 before showing up.

This City Hall tax site for veterans is booked through March. Veterans with base access can also file at NAS Jax by making an appointment at unitedwaynefl.org/taxes or dialing 2-1-1.
