Crews have restored power to more than 16,600 customers in Clay County.
The power outage in the Black Creek neighborhood was reported around 3 p.m.

A spokesperson for the company said a large static line went out because of lightning damage from a previous storm.

Temperatures were in the mid to upper 90s in the area during the outage.
Clay Electric Co-op said anyone who is still without power should check their circuit breakers then report it o 1-888-434-9844.
