6/15/18 7 a.m. UPDATE: Clay County authorities said Friday morning they have no evidence of where missing 20 year-old Rachel Knowlton may be.

They've expanded their search all the way Keystone, to Duval County line and Green Cove Springs.

She is still believed to be on foot, the sheriff's office said in a news briefing.

As of now, deputies say there is no evidence or indications that foul play is involved. Knowlton has gone missing in the past but does not have a history of taking a ride from someone, authorities said.

Based on disorder she suffers from, she is considered by CCSO to be endangered. Action News Jax was told the missing woman has social skills of a 10 to 12 year old.

CCSO became involved  in the case about 2 p.m. Thursday and say there is great concern that she has been out missing this long.

Original Story:

The Clay County Sheriff's Office announced they are searching for 20-year-old Rachel Knowlton who has the mental capacity of a 6-year-old.

Rachel was last seen wearing an unknown shirt white shorts and flip flops with a turquoise purse.

She is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds and was last seen near Halperns Way at Whitesville Landing Court in Middleburg.

CCSO said that due to Rachel's mental capacity and potential severe weather moving into the area, Rachel is considered to be in danger and urging anyone to call 911 if she is seen.

Rachel has been missing before, the last occurrence in January.

During a briefing, CCSO said that a chopper and troopers will be assisting in the search.

CCSO asked the community via Twitter to help search for Rachel in their own vehicles as they are searching for her with canines.
