Action News Jax dug through Clay County’s jail log and found two people arrested for crimes on Lori Loop Road Tuesday night.

Wednesday, CCSO confirmed that Victoria Scifo and Taylor Hill were arrested in connection to the shooting.

Hill did seven years for burglary and dealing in stolen property, and GPS monitoring was required of him.

Scifo did nearly two years for stealing a car and running from police, among other charges.

A witness who said she was there during the shooting recounted hearing upwards of ten shots fired in the home and in the street.

“As I was walking, I heard guns go off, and then I heard them holler out, ‘Call 911, I’ve been shot!'” she said.

“[Wooten’s girlfriend] was lying there already gone, and I heard more gunshots out at the road, and I hid for a second, ran back out there- when the car went by- and his daddy was lying on the ground shot in the head,” she said.

Wednesday, friends of the victim came to the home. They said these kind of crimes don’t happen here.

“Out here, it’s unheard of,” one man said. “These people aren’t used to this out here.”
