COVID-19: Some upcoming Jacksonville area concerts to require proof of vaccination or negative test

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At least three upcoming major concerts in our area are asking attendees to either show proof of a negative COVID-19 test or a vaccination card.

The Jonas Brothers are bringing their Remember This tour and special guest Kelsea Ballerini to Daily’s Place on Friday, October 15 at 7 p.m. On the Daily’s Place website, the following notice about the show is posted:

“Please note this show is requiring all fans to provide PRINTED proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event for entry. In lieu of proof of a negative test, ticket holders may voluntarily provide proof of full vaccination (at least two weeks after final dose).”

The same notice is posted for the Counting Crows’ Daily’s Place tour stop on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. The band, known for its hits like “Mr. Jones,” is bringing special guests Seán Barna and Matt Sucich on tour.

At the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, patrons going to the Killers’ show on Friday, Oct. 1 may have to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test. The following notice about the show is posted on the Amp’s website.

“Please Note: Proof of negative COVID test within 48 hours or vaccination may be required.”
