JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — As of Tuesday, the Fraternal Order of Police has received over 70 donations. However, on the eve of Corporal Andy Lavender's funeral services the organization is still short of its goal.
Jacksonville Beach Police Department Corporal Andy Lavender unexpectedly died On Saturday, Aug. 3, leaving behind three children.
With the permission of family and in conjunction with Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 17, money is being raised through a GoFundMe to assist Lavender's family. Lavender's oldest daughter will be the recipient of 100 percent of the funds raised.

There are three ways to donate:

2. Send checks (tax deductible) payable to the FOP Foundation at:
5530 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32207
Note in the memo section "Fallen Officer Relief Fund"
3. Call the FOP directly at (904) 398-7010 during regular business hours and donate via credit card
