DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — A crane detached from a truck near the front entrance of JAXPORT Tuesday morning.
Nancy Rubin with JAXPORT said a truck was delivering the mobile crane to Blount Island. When the truck attempted to make a U-Turn, the crane detached and fell in the roadway.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a portion of Dave Rawls Drive was closed temporarily while wreckers removed the crane.
No injuries were reported and there were no issues with operations, said Rubin.
