Crash on I-295 ends fatal

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol state that Sunday at approximately 3 p.m., a single vehicle with a teenage driver flipped just north of Alta Drive.

FHP states that the vehicle ran off the roadway onto the right shoulder and struck two light poles.

The vehicle overturned before coming to final rest on its drivers side.

A FHP Corporal and multiple good Samaritans rushed to render aid (CPR) to the 19 year old driver before he sadly passed away at the scene.
