ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A crash near the Shands Bridge in St. Johns County is causing traffic delays. According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, the crash involves a cement mixer truck and a car.

The driver of the car was briefly trapped in the car and has been removed, deputies said. We're told the driver has injuries, but the Sheriff's Office is not sure of how bad the injuries are.
The driver was taken to the hospital in a helicopter.

The cement truck is on its side. That driver was not hurt.
Traffic is slow in the area, but, police said there are no lanes blocked on the bridge.
