JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens near Downtown Jacksonville will host a panel discussion Thursday, September 17 on how artificial intelligence is transforming the way people create, interpret, and experience art.
The discussion among academicians, artists, and AI experts will tackle questions about how AI is shaping creative practice, public policy, and daily life. They will also cover how artists, scholars, and cultural leaders are responding to this rapidly changing landscape.
Panelists include professor and artist Bill Hill, Executive Director of the STEAM Institute, Jacksonville University; Dr. Josh Gellers, Dean of Professional and Lifelong Learning and Faculty Fellow of AI, University of North Florida; and Kim Kuta Dring, Director of Learning & Engagement, Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.
The conversation will be moderated by Kimberly Noble, George W. and Kathleen I. Gibbs Director & CEO of the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.
Tickets for the panel discussion are $25 for museum members, and $40 for future members. This event takes place on Free Third Thursday, meaning Museum admission is free from 4 to 8 p.m.
