Delta Air Lines plane makes emergency landing at JIA

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The plane as landed safely at JIA, officials say.

A Delta Air Lines plane is making an emergency landing at Jacksonville International Airport.

The plane was headed to Atlanta, Georgia from Jacksonville when a light indicating a landing gear issue prompted the pilot to land, according to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority.

Officials say 155 people are on board.
