The victim was in a wooded area and had no idea where she was. She provided a description of the area, and authorities from the Sheriff's Office and the Georgia State Patrol searched the Caney Branch area and found the vehicle with a dead man inside.
Another of Sandra Williams' co-workers, 41-year-old Leon Pugh, was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Sandra Williams is being treated at UF Health Jacksonville.
Deputies said they don't have a motive. They said that if Sandra Williams hadn't fought her way out of the car trunk, they believe that she also would have been killed.
