12-year-old gospel singer sings song about living life as young black man in U.S.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 12-year-old gospel singer Keedron Bryant sings a song about living life as a young black man in the U.S.

Bryant told Action News Jax in light of recent events across the country he took his talent to social media to encourage others.

Bryant also competed on a reality talent competition “Little Big Shots."

He posted a video of himself singing a song with the words “I just want to live” as protests spark over the death of Floyd in Minneapolis.

His song caught the attention Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, Lebron James, actress Eva Longoria, Janet Jackson and former President Obama who all shared it on their social media pages.
