Police: 15-year-old stabbed after dispute at Jacksonville home

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy is recovering after being stabbed at a gathering at a house on Sibbald Road Wednesday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it received a call from the teen’s father at 4 a.m. after his son told him he had been stabbed.

The teen was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Police said there was a dispute prior to the stabbing and they have identified a person of interest.
