JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — City of Jacksonville is hosting a prescription drug take back day in honor of DEA National Take Back Day on April 22.
The city encourages anyone with expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in their medicine cabinet to come for safe disposal. Acceptable drugs include vitamins, prescription medication (schedule I-IV, controlled and non-controlled substances), prescription patches, prescription ointments, pet medication and over-the-counter medication.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22 at five participating Jacksonville locations. Find a location near you by clicking HERE.
